Olaf Wollschläger joined Railroad Tracks in January-2013. He has worked in the music industry for over 20 years as a music producer, composer, keyboardist and FOH sound engineer. He began his musical career as a musician (1989 keyboarder with “They Fade In Silence” as a support band on the “New Order” True Faith tour) and completed various jobs as a keyboardist, co-producer and arranger – among others in the EMI Studios (Cologne Maarweg Studios), Dierks Studios (Pulheim).
In 1994 he and two partners founded the company art4art in Neuss, with 2 recording studios and attached sub-publisher at EMI Publishing, as well as the label “Bloodline”, one of the most successful independent labels his time in Germany.
In 1995 he produced the first techno releases and remixes with “DJ Merlyn”. As part of this they received 6 gold awards, as well as various No1 Releases in the dance charts. In 1997, the two most successful remixers team in Germany, with more than 30 top-10 finishes in the Media-Control Charts were.
Furthermore, he also produces film and advertising music (Porsche, Wiskas, Persil, MAN, ESC Euro Vision Song Contest). He is currently one of the most famous producers of indie labels in the so-called Dark-electronic scene, among other things by bands like Mesh, And One, In Strict Confidence …
